Vanilla connects you to the internet through the three primary networks in South Africa. These are the fastest and most reliable networks, namely Internet Solutions, MTN Business which is used by many major companies and SAIX, the Telkom network.

Vanilla now also orders and bills for DSL physical lines, hence no need to struggle with Telkom, just do everything through us!

Vanilla gives you a choice of easy to use services - you pick what you want and only pay for what you use. No complex bundles. No long-term contracts. No credit checks or red tape. We guarantee 99% uptime and the security of our systems.

Vanilla bills you by email; we prefer payment by direct electronic payment.

Vanilla keeps everything as simple as possible (and when its not simple we will do our best to explain things simply).

Mailing Lists

A mailing list is a means to send information to a large number of recepients. Our service features vast customisation capabilities with moderation from both the owner and the moderator. We use Mailman for ultimate reliability and functionality of our mailing list service.

We provide a tailored solution for your needs. Most of our customers use their own domain names for their lists.

For example, Vanilla supports the Internet Society which controls their own lists for members at isoc.org.za. Our mailing lists can be used for:

• various teams
• working groups or
• committees.

Other customers such as private schools have replaced their paper-based newsletter system with email. They use a subdomain eg. lists.vanilla.co.za. Another small business franchisee uses our service to communicate with and between branches.

At what cost?

We can provide you with a mailing list service for R69 (incl) per month plus R285 setup. The setup includes 20 minutes telephonic instruction how to use the software. You can use this as much as you like up to 500MB (±50000 thousand of text emails) but we charge an additional R49 per additional 500MB. It uses the most widely used software called Mailman which allows us to guarantee our service.
