Multi-tenant or landlords

Vanilla is a licensed telecommunications company (like Telkom), which allows us 'right of way' in order to provide infrastructure required to deliver telecommunications services to customers in multi-tenant parks and buildings. We follow a rigorous process in order to ensure the quality of our work adheres to any property standards and the gold standard for in building cabling.

The process goes as follows:

• Request from the landlord (or building owner / body corporate) acknowledgment that we have a customer that we will be reticulation for, and a contact person responsible (such as a superintendent 'super') for final approval for route plan of installation
• Site visit to meet the customer and 'super' in order to discuss an ideal or agreeable route plan
• Approval of a final plan for reticulation
• Feedback and acceptance of install

Constitution

We point out that in 2013 the constitutional court ruled in favor of licensed Telcos and confirmed their rights of way according to their Constitutional Court Judgment

We never request exclusivity and for various reasons we support competition in all the buildings and properties that we enter - see : Susan Crawford's article
